A drive of just a little over an hour on modern highways separates Santiago’s Andean walls from the mighty Pacific Ocean

Discover the maze of homes nestled snugly into dozens of hills with their picturesque elevators, colorful neighborhoods, sea views and its historical downtown area. Valparaíso was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its architectural and cultural importance. Next to Valparaíso is the city of Viña del Mar, with its modern buildings, groomed beaches, and the Quinta Vergara, which hosts an international music festival each year.

This colorful excursion includes:

  • Full transportation from/to Santiago with English guided tour
  • Visit to Valparaíso main landscapes
  • A visit to La Sebastiana, Pablo Neruda’s house at Valparaíso
  • A ticket for the typical elevators
  • Visit to Viña del Mar main landscapes
  • Lunch is not included.

Excursion schedule: leaving Santiago at 9:00 / back in Santiago at 18:30.

The Conference Dinner will take place at La Cava, a wine cellar of 1800 that was discovered two decades ago, underneath the terrain of an old house.

When it was discovered, La Cava was dismantled, brick by brick, and then was installed next to the Centro de Extensión UC, where now houses a beautiful restaurant.

  • More information about the Conference Dinner will be published soon!
